another epic ep.... love the clarity 3-d fight scenes bring to the table.... feel bad for the 2-d only ppl that cant seem to try new things for whatever pathetic reasons they come up with...... not really

well .. the 3d fights look really pretty but what these animations usually lack is the subtlety the 2d ones have. there are a few exceptions tho. this si amongst a few exquisite chinese animations but far less than japanese..it is to be expected since their industry is new in comparison. i do love duopo chngqiong but i love some 2d anime too. being exclusive to either only limits the awesome things both have

Fan Lao (Vampire dude) is really unlucky. He's a 4 Stars Dou Huang, 2 stars higher than Hai Bo Dong. First, he ran into Zi Yan, a bonafide Dou King with Super God Beast bloodlines, so physically she is many many times stronger than regular Dou Kings.

Fan Lao is a caster type Dou Huang so physically he's weaker. Then there's two annoying Dou Lings half step into Dou Kings interfering from the sides.

After that, he runs into Xiao Yan buffed by his Master's powers and Abnormal Flames, Bone Spirit Chilling Flames together with his own abnormal Flames Cyan Lotus Earth Stamen Flames pushed his prowess to 4-Stars Dou Huang or higher.

THEN we got the issue that Fan Lao's skills is weak against Xiao Yan's flames type skills and gets his ass whooped to the point where he can't even escape.

Buddha's Raging Fire Lotus (Fusion of 2 Abnormal Flames) in its full glory is about to make its return!

I always got confused at this part where combined with his Master, Xiao Yan fighting with Fan Lao at Dou Huang level, but previously at Misty Cloud, he was fight on par at Dou Zong level, so why the drop in fighting power for Xiao Yan?

It was so funny watching this Dou Huang get chased and beaten by XY, by just relying on his elemental advantage. He is not even using his sky-fire secret technique or his masters help. Just embarrasses this guy with heavenly flame alone.
At least his school mates are starting to realize how much he holds back with them.

He's master once mentioned he has soul power in excess so, though it is possible, I doubt he would need to.

nope. those two elders were at the outer academy. The assist headmaster had to greet them (with so much respect) before they unfroze and opened the library. They also made yao lao get scared and even severe his connection with XY as he believed them to be very strong (more than the asst headmaster).
